PTS is seeking Senior System Analysts to become part of a dynamic team environment that offers challenges and rewards.

PTS provides certified telecom personnel to system vendors, system manufacturers and end-users. Clients are serviced throughout North America. PTS also accepts special assignments internationally.

Roles and Responsibilities

PTS System Analysts are responsible for providing quality support, service and project management on Call Center, PBX/VMS systems and Voice Networks. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Requirement gathering
• Project planning and execution
• System performance monitoring and tuning
• Capacity planning
• Problem diagnosis
• Duplication and resolution using troubleshooting skills and proven methodologies

Required Knowledge

• In-depth telecommunications industry knowledge
• In-depth knowledge (configuration, administration and troubleshooting skills) of:
  • Nortel PBX (Option 11, 61, 81 BCM), CallPilot, ACD--- Symposium Server
  • AVAYA (Audix, Intuity, MultiVantage, CMS)
  • Siemens (Hicom, ProCenter)
  • NEC (Neax 2000, 2400, WorX Business, WorX Enterprise)
  • CISCO, ICM, CM, scripting, advance scripting
• 800# (toll free) advanced feature routing
• Call Center, IVR implementation
• CRM product knowledge
• ARS system implementation
• Video conferencing
• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint)

Required Skills, Abilities and Experience

• 3 - 5 years of telecom experience
• Product and system certification by system manufacturers
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, prioritizing and teamwork skills
• Excellent project management skills
• Ability to build working relationships with vendors and suppliers
• Ability to work in a network operations environment
• Ability to work quickly and independently in a high stress environment
• Ability to consistently produce high quality, on-time and error-free results in an interrupt-driven environment
• Sensitivity to market re new products and technologies
• Self-motivated and self-directed
